Kaju Katli Recipe



Ingredients:-
  • For 100 Pcs
  • Kesar (Saffron) – 1g
  • Cashew nuts – 1 kg
  • Sugar – 700 g
  • Milk – 25 ml
  • Water – 250 m




Method:-
  1. Soak Kesar in 25 ml hot water for 30 min. 
  2. Grind the cashew nuts into fine powder in a mixer. 
  3. Make a clear sugar solution using sugar, milk and water. Milk should be added after the sugar has been completely dissolved in water. Add Kesar water and bring the solution to boil. 
  4. Add cashew powder and cook on a slow flame in a thick bottom pan.
  5. Cook to the point till whole mixture becomes a single mass and no longer sticks to the bottom of the pan. 
  6. Spread the mix on a clean flat surface on which a fine layer of ghee has been applied. Use a chapatti rolling pin to make a fine spread of the mix. Cut in to diamond shape pieces using a knife and steel or wooden scale. 
  7. Delicious Kesar Kaju katlis are ready.
