- For 100 Pcs
- Kesar (Saffron) – 1g
- Cashew nuts – 1 kg
- Sugar – 700 g
- Milk – 25 ml
- Water – 250 m
Method:-
- Soak Kesar in 25 ml hot water for 30 min.
- Grind the cashew nuts into fine powder in a mixer.
- Make a clear sugar solution using sugar, milk and water. Milk should be added after the sugar has been completely dissolved in water. Add Kesar water and bring the solution to boil.
- Add cashew powder and cook on a slow flame in a thick bottom pan.
- Cook to the point till whole mixture becomes a single mass and no longer sticks to the bottom of the pan.
- Spread the mix on a clean flat surface on which a fine layer of ghee has been applied. Use a chapatti rolling pin to make a fine spread of the mix. Cut in to diamond shape pieces using a knife and steel or wooden scale.
- Delicious Kesar Kaju katlis are ready.
