Apple Rabdi Recipe


Ingredients:-
  • Apple - 3
  • Whole milk - 2 liters
  • Sugar – ¾ cup
  • Almonds - 4
  • Pistachios, unsalted - 4
  • Saffron strands – ¼ tsp
  • Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
  • Chopped fragrant red rose petals - 1 tsp




Method:-
  1. Crush almonds and pista coarsely, or cut into thin slivers.
  2. Boil milk in a clean heavy pan. Simmer for ten minutes, after it starts boiling.
  3. Stir occasionally while boiling.
  4. Add sugar and stir till dissolved.
  5. Off the gas; add saffron, cardamom, almonds and pistas.
  6. Cool to room temperature.
  7. Add grated apples, chill for 3 - 4 hours till very cold.
  8. Put in individual serving bowls sprinkle very few saffron strands to garnish.
  9. Serve chilled.
