Beetroot Halwa Recipe

Beetroot Halwa

Serves: 4-5 Persons

Ingredients:-
  • Beetroot (grated) - 1(big)
  • Milk - 1.5 cups
  • Condensed Milk - 05.cup
  • Sugar - as required
  • Ghee - ¼ cup
  • Cardamom - 5 to 6 (crushed)
  • Chopped roasted cashew nuts and almonds - 10
  • Raisins - 10

 
Method:-
  1. Heat a pan, add the milk and allow it to boil.
  2. Add the grated beet-root until it gets cooked.
  3. Now add the Condensed milk, add sugar and stir.
  4. When it becomes thick, add the crushed cardamom and mix well.
  5. Till the time, heat ghee in another pan.
  6. Fry the raisins and cashews in the ghee.
  7. Transfer the ghee content together with the fried nuts to the halwa and mix well.
  8. Garnish with some more cashews, raisins and serve hot.
