Missi Roti Ingredients:
  • Gram flour (besan) – 1 cup
  • Whole wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Green chilly, seeded, chopped – 1
  • Finely chopped onion – ½
  • Chopped fresh coriander – 1 tbsp
  • Ground turmeric – ½ tsp
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Lukewarm water – 2/3 cup
  • Unsalted butter or ghee, melted – 3 tbsp

Pista Burfi Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup sugar (white or brown)
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 2/3 cup powdered milk
  • 1/3 cup nuts or dried fruits, chopped (optonal)
  • 1/4 tsp powdered cardamom
  • 1/2 cup raw pistachio nuts, blanched and finely chopped
  • 1 tsp rose water (or a few drops rose essence)
  • 3 tbsp blanched pistachios, slivered, for garnish
