Beetroot Pickle Recipe
Ingredients:-
- 1 Medium sized beetroot
- 3-4 Pitted dates
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 1/2 Cup Vinegar
- Salt as required
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Method:-
- Clean the Beetroot and peel the skin. Cut it into 4 quarters.
- Grate the Beetroot pieces using a Vegetable grater.
- Chop the Dates and Garlic and mix with the grated Beetroot.
- Add Salt, and the Chilli powder.
- Add enough Vinegar to just cover all the ingredients. Mix well and keep refrigerated for a day or two.
- Take out from refrigerator and mix well and adjust the Salt or sweetness using more Dates.
- You may need to add little more Vinegar also, and is ready to use.
- Keep refrigerated and it last for few weeks.
