It is an exotic meal that you can serve your friends when they visit. If you want to stay behind during a long break or weekend, you need to make use of this meal, lemon chicken breasts in relaxing with friends and family.

Ingredients


  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup good olive oil
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest (2 lemons)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme leaves
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic (9 cloves)
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions : You should preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

Start by warming the olive oil over medium low heat, add your garlic and cook for about one minute. Add the white wine, lemon juice, lemon zest, thyme, oregano and salt and then pour into a 9 by 12-inch baking dish.

You should pat your chicken breasts and get them dried. Place over the sauce and brush your breasts with the olive oil. Sprinkle with pepper and salt and cut the lemon in eight wedges and tuck it among the chicken pieces.

You should bake for 40 minutes until it is browned, sprinkle with salt and serve.
