Palak Paneer
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh or frozen spinach
- 1 ½ cup paneer pieces
- 1 big size Onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1tbsp lemon juice (optional)
- 1tbsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp any oil of your choice
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Method:
- Boil the spinach in the microwave or on the stove for 10 min and let it cool.
- Grind it in blender
- Chop onion and tomatoes and green chilies
- Heat the oil in a pan and sauté onions. Add chopped tomatoes garlic ginger paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, pepper and salt to taste.
- Let it cook for 3-4 minutes
- Add spinach to the paste and let it simmer. Then add paneer pieces.
- Cover the lid n let it simmer for sometime.
- Add corn starch and mix it well
- Add lemon juice.
