Palak Paneer Recipe

Palak Paneer


Ingredients:
  • 1 lb fresh or frozen spinach
  • 1 ½ cup paneer pieces
  • 1 big size Onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 1tbsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 1tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp any oil of your choice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste



Method:
  1. Boil the spinach in the microwave or on the stove for 10 min and let it cool.
  2. Grind it in blender
  3. Chop onion and tomatoes and green chilies
  4. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté onions. Add chopped tomatoes garlic ginger paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, pepper and salt to taste.
  5. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes
  6. Add spinach to the paste and let it simmer. Then add paneer pieces.
  7. Cover the lid n let it simmer for sometime.
  8. Add corn starch and mix it well
  9. Add lemon juice.
