Chicken Marsala |
Ingredients
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour for coating
- 1/2 cup Marsala wine
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 boneless chicken breast halves
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup cooking sherry
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Directions : You should mix the pepper, oregano, salt and flour to together in a shallow dish, you can now coat the pieces chicken in the flour mixture.
With a big skillet, you should melt the butter over a medium heat in oil. Put the chicken in the pan and allow it to turn brown. You can turn over that chicken, then add mushrooms , wine and sherry. You should cover the skillet and simmer the chicken for ten minutes until it is no longer pinkish and the juices are clear.
